This week we also have special guest Michael Chamberlin talking about his beloved Hawks.

Episode 1 of The Downlow

Join Geraldine, Anne and Kate for the first episode of The Downlow.

This week the Downlow ladies attended the nail-biter of a match between Sydney and Melbourne at the MCG - which they’ve talked about in very little detail. What they DO talk about is the supporters, cheersquad, half time snacks, why Gezza and Anne barrack for Essendon and why Kate HATES Essendon along with special phone ins from a couple of guest tippers.

Join Geraldine Hickey, Anne Edmonds and Kate McLennan for their footy podcast ‘The Downlow.’ Each week the ladies will report back on their ‘Match of the Week’ and will also be joined by an array of colourful guests. They’ll express a range of ill-informed opinions on a variety of subjects to do with the game of AFL. The girls will tackle everything from quarter time snacks to spectator etiquette, tram talk to Dennis Cometti’s ‘Simile of the Week,’ the suicidal lows of being a Richmond supporter and having a tear On Brunton Ave after a win. The Downlow celebrates everything that we love about going to the footy today and all that we remember from when we were kids. It could get a little emotional. A podcast from three spectators who don’t know a hell of a lot, but what they do know they’ll shout really loudly during the third quarterGeraldine Hickey, Anne Edmonds and Kate McLennan are regulars on the Melbourne stand-up comedy scene. Last year while drinking beer and talking rubbish they decided to do a podcast about watching footy, drinking beer and speaking rubbish.
